Customization of Table views in Modern UI
Either freeze the column headings and first column, or allow users to freeze them, so you can always see what row item you're on and what the info in each column is. Presently, column headings disappear when you vertical scroll and first column disappears when you horizontal scroll.
Allow users to change row heights to eliminate white space and see more rows on a screen.
Thanks very much for your reply. I've tried this repeatedly in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, but until I saw your video I was unsuccessful. Clicking and dragging causes the page to reload to sort the column, but it seems like if you click to sort first, let the page reload, then grab the column in the exact middle and drag, it seems to allow you to move the column. Thanks for posting the video! Can we pass along to the user interface team the suggestions of freezing the first column, not scrolling the column headers, and resizing row heights? It would be super-helpful to be able to freeze the first column so we can see which item a row applies to as we scroll horizontally, and when the column headers disappear during vertical scrolling, we can't tell what the information in the cell refers to. Thanks!
