In the General Settings I can control the Bill of Materials quantity field, but this only applies to the unit quantity not the QTY Pos. The Vault Connector writes item quantity to QTY Pos.
Although Inventor allows us to set rounding on BOM precision, Vault ignores this and displays the quantity in all its precision glory. And as Vault has no setting to control quantity precision we at times have quantity with 14 decimal places of precision. The Vault Connector then fails at syncing the item data to Fusion Manage.
My idea is to first to extend the max decimals on the existing quantity field to at least 20. And second give us control over QTY Pos as there is on the existing unit quantity.
