we need to automatically run a script, while a user performs a change on the attachments tab, grid or further tab of an item.
We currently have the problem, that we automatically want to change data records in an item depending on the latest uploaded attachment date, without the need to edit the item details and use this as trigger.
In this case we do not want to force the user to perform a manual triggered state transition or an editing of the item as this task is expected to be disregarded. An automatic triggering of scripts while uploading an attachment or editing a tab like "grid" is not possible yet. Even the last modification date of the item as well as the change log are updated with each new attachment upload.
Furthermore we would appreciate if the attachment tab can be configured as good as the grid tab:
For example: defining picklists for the file description and the need to fill in comments by uploading a new file version.
As we see not this possibility, it would be useful to add this feature.
