Add columns in general section of Item Details tab -- not a matrix.

It would be nice to be able to add a second (or third...) column in the general sections of the Details tab.

(This is different than the basic functionality of the matrix option.)

I'm trying to improve the look of the details tab as well as cut down on the amount of scrolling the user needs to do to view an object.

To avoid side-to-side scrolling, there could be a user option to use/not use the multi-column arrangement.  If a user has high resolution, they can choose the multi-column approach.  If the user has low resolution, they would probably want to choose the single-column.
