Pasting to an object picklist

I wonder if someone knows a good workflow to add links to many (existing) objects to a picklist.

In our example we want to add very many affected products to a change request. Consider for example the famous example where UKCA symbol needs to be added to the type label for Brexit. This kind of ECR will affect hundreds of products.

It is quite tiresome to pick them one-by-one from the product workspace. It would be great to paste them csv-style to this field and let the numbers be resolved by Fusion manage.

Hi, if i understand it correctly, you are trying to paste many existing Products into an Picklist in a existing CR?

Did you already try to use the Importing Tool?

You will basicly need only two cells in you excel sheet that you are uploading (i don't know if csv works, i only tried xlsx). One that contains an unique identifier for your CR, for example the CR-Number. And in the second cell you put all your affected items. The affected items just need to be seperated by an "," (e.g.  0001 Item1,0002 Item2, 0003 Item3....). The affected item need to be the same string as the one that is shown in the picklist when you are trying to select it manually.

Thank you, that was easier as expected!
