Switched to Modern UI and noticed that records created in Classic where a single select user list is empty throws an error fails to save.

Works fine in Classic

Hello @john.denner,

Thank you for taking time to contact Autodesk Forums and Support.  May I ask are you still experiencing an issue in the Modern UI with Picklist?  In testing I'm unable to replicate, based on error message can you share with me is there an additional validation within Workspace Picklist field?  Please let me know if you are still experiencing an issue.  Thank you

  • Everything was created in Classic.
  • Picklist with source Users, All is empty
  • Switched to Modern (after tenant clone to sandbox)
  • Records that have empty picklists (which is valid) fail to save
  • Edit field, change to a name, save
  • Edit field clear selection, save (success)

Hello @john.denner,

I have documented this behaviour in our case # 13869315.  This matter has been sent to engineer team to review.  Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and sharing details.  I was able to replicate behaviour in our test environment.   While team reviews please continue to access blank records for editing in Classic UI where they can be accessed and updated.  Autodesk appreciates your time in posting to the community and helping us drive success.   Enjoy your day and let us know if we can be of future assistance.
