Need to edit team domain

Hi there, I have a team that I have been using and the domain was generated from my email address:

 

https://gmail*******.autodesk360.com/  

 

I cannot find the option to change it. Thanks for any help!

Thanks for raising your query onto Autodesk Forum.

 

I would like to inform you that; the URL of the Team Hub is generated automatically off the domain of the email address of the Team Hub owner. User don't have privilege to change the URL of the Fusion Team.

 

Having said this, if you wish to change the Fusion Team hub name then follow the mentioned steps:

  1. Go to your profile name on Fusion Team opened on web
  2. Click on Admin
  3. Click on Edit button for Team name and change it as required.

Thank you for your reply. If the user doesn't have the privilege to change the URL then who does?

 

I would like the URL that my users, team, administrators, clients, vendors, etc see reflect the company they are working with.

Thanks for the feedback.

 

As I mentioned earlier; the URL of the Team Hub is generated automatically off the domain of the email address of the Team Hub owner. So if for example you have a domain 'xxxx@autodesk.com' then you will have a Team Hub name something like 'autodeskxxxx.autodesk360.com'.

 

So if your domain include the company name then it will be used in the Team Hub URL as mentioned above.

 

If you have the hub ID which doesn't have your company name as you are using a different email ID which is not onto your company domain then please let me know your present hub ID, required hub name (make sure that the new hub ID will be autodeskxxxx.autodesk360.com where XXXX will be the company name) and your email ID used to login onto your Fusion Team by sending me a private message. To send a private message you can hover the mouse onto my profile name in the post as shown in the image:

P.S.: Note that the Hub name can be changed only if it is not already been used by another user and is available for use.

I have the same issue. Many people use email addresses separate from their company. There seems to be no reason to not let the user choose their own domain (with a check that the name is not already being used, of course). This should be done as part of the Team Onboarding tool.
