[FIXED] Can't see my hub (Data panel)

The data panel is all blank here. I've tried uninstalling, deleting the appdata folder for Fusion/Autodesk. In web I can see the projects. Using the menu->file open I can browser them and open, but if I want to change a property like making it read/write I am unable to because the lack of panel data information.

I am using the very same account.

Am I skipping something new? My question is about having some months without using this product.

A blank Data Panel can be caused by a delayed cloud sync, an offline status, or account desynchronization. Since you can see your data on the web, you can often restore the panel by logging out, waiting a moment, signing back in, and explicitly switching your active Team Hub.

Tap on a clip to paste it in the text box.

Projects, folders, or files are missing from Autodesk Fusion

I installed Fusion in a VM, there everything is working as expected. I tried maybe almost everything, from uninstalling, deleting folders, reinstalling Edge WebView, nothing helps. I can't  switch because there is no visible option to do it. Only a full empty panel as the picture I attached.

Autodesk Fusion Personal (Not for Commercial Use), and you have reached the maximum allowed limit for active documents. The red warning at the top states: "Read-Only: Document limit has been reached". Because your Data Panel is stuck completely blank due to the sync issue, you cannot toggle files to read-only from inside the app.

My other installation works, I was able to move some into read-only and made some changes I need. This is definitively something related to my current installation/cache/registry in my main computer.

Seems like to be related to Webview.

To fix your blank Data Panel and missing hub, you likely need to clear out the cloud cache folders entirely or reset the software, rather than just reinstalling. Since your web client and VM work, this is an isolated local installation or cache issue.

Hmmm.. " you likely need to clear out the cloud cache folders entirely or reset the software", where/how do I reset the software? By clear I understand I should in Help menu->...->Clear Cache, however this option is disable as the program understands has no cache to be cleared, what left is that reset option, and again if it in Preferences I am out of luck lol

All look likes to be related, somehow, to the Edge WebView2 with my computer. I can access the projects via Menu. I reinstalled the WebView2, tried almost everything possible.

Some functions that depends on webbrowser will freeze the Fusion.

No solution, I guess the issue is with something related to Data Panel about way it works. I've tried deleting everything but my Windows prevents the Data Panel to open maybe due some file corruption (I've checked - no issues), VS DLL conflicts, I really don't know.

Hi @lima_magno

I have had this bite me in the past as well and it had to do with the graphics driver on my old laptop.

Under Preferences -> General, you can specify the graphics driver if its set to Auto-select (my last laptop struggled with this - I either had to set it manually here or in the OS graphics settings)

You could also try going into Preferences -> Compatibility and Troubleshooting, and setting the QT Rendering Hardware Interface API to D3D11

There are a few other suggestions under here - Fusion Help | Data Panel is missing or blank in Autodesk Fusion | Autodesk, but I'm thinking one of the above will bring it back to life for you.

Let me know!

-Andy

[FIXED!]

What fixed it was correcting Windows folder permissions for Fusion’s embedded QtWebEngine browser.

My webdeploy folder lacked read/execute permissions for **ALL APPLICATION PACKAGES** and **ALL RESTRICTED APPLICATION PACKAGES**.

Here’s what worked:

1. Close Fusion**, then open PowerShell (admin privilegies).

2. Back up the existing permissions (maybe optional):

   icacls "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\Autodesk\webdeploy" /save "$env:USERPROFILE\fusion-webdeploy-acl.txt" /T /C

3. If the backup finishes with **0 failed files**, run:

  icacls "$env:LOCALAPPDATA\Autodesk\webdeploy" /grant "*S-1-15-2-1:(OI)(CI)(RX)" "*S-1-15-2-2:(OI)(CI)(RX)"

4. Try opening Fusion

This grants only read/execute access to the webdeploy folder and its inheriting contents. It immediately fixed mine. Similar symptoms can have other causes, but this is worth checking.
