Extrude falls outside boundary

Hi - from another annoying newbie,
I've seen this heading several times in the forum when I search but I cannot see an answer to my problem. I am creating a fan with a gusset on the back of the impeller blade. I want to extrude the gusset to the centre hub, but this is into a tapered & curved area.

Is it possible to select multiple faces to extrude/pull to? Or is there another method I can use to create the shape?

I have attached the fusion file and this is a screen shot and any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Elliot

Hi @elliotGDUHS,

Is this what you are after?
See the steps I used in the timeline.

I deleted your offset and used 2 Split Bodies to split the Blade into 3 bodies.
After that, I removed the 2 bodies that were not necessary.

That is absolutely perfect, thank you. I'm going to try and do it myself now I know it can be done, to make sure I understand.
Thanks again 👍
