Can´t copy Design between projects

Hello,

i have a new issue where i can´t copy or move or save to another project.

Normally in the project directory within f360 i could just right click and copy/move a design to another project.

But now in the provided file explorer which pops up when i try to copy i cant move "up" from the project i can only choose folders withing the project.

Also when i try to use "save to" to save the design to a new location, i also can only choose locations within the project.

I also tried to copy via the myfusionhub website. There i can copy and choose locations i other projects, but the copying always fails.

What could be the issue?

As i wanted to create a testproject for providing screenshots of the issue i noticed that all the above worked with this project. But it still does not work with some other projects. What could be the difference between projects. Is this a rights issue? To my knowledge i own all the projects.

Below is an example for the "not working" Project:

In the "working" Project i see all my projects to copy to like this:

I just learned in this post: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/save-as-command-won-t-let-me-change-project-folder... that the issue is, that the desing i want to copy contains a referenced design so it can not be copyed or saved into another project because this would break the reference.

Hi @scholse1,

Thanks for posting. This is a known limitation of single-user storage (previously known as a Personal Hub). With Single-User Storage, only files that don't contain external references and aren't part of a distributed design can be moved. This limitation applies to all versions of a file so that even if only one version contains the external references, none of the other versions can be moved.

To avoid this limitation Upgrade from Single-User Storage to a Fusion Team Hub See: How to transfer Fusion 360 projects from Single User Storage to a Fusion Team Hub
I strongly recommend checking the following rundown: The Advantages of Team Hubs in Fusion 360
