View just one signal on a PCB

Hi,

I have a large, complicated PCB with many signals. While doing final checks, I would like to be able to select a signal in the Design Manager and have all other signals either disappear or be dimmed so I can visualise all the traces for that signal and check that it makes sense.

Is this possible in Fusion 360?

Just to preempt, I realise that selecting the signal does a very slight highlight of those traces. That's far too subtle on a busy PCB layout to give confidence that you've noticed all the highlighted traces.

Thanks,

Josh

Hello @josh_l ,

I hope you're doing well. This is currently not possible, you can however make inspection a little bit easier by using single layer view and then selecting the net in the design manager. It will frame and highlight the net segments.

Between the two options things should be easier to spot. It's easy to switch through the layers in single layer view to aid inspection.

Thank you for the idea. I'll pass this along to our devs.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thanks @jorge_garcia for the reply. I will try to remember Single Layer View in these moments, however if this can be implemented it would be much appreciated.

Follow-up question: Over the course of a day using F360 I run into countless little UI glitches, reproducible bugs, and productivity features I wish were there that would save time, money and prevent mistakes. What's your preferred way for customers to report these? Spam the forum with new topics, or do you have a direct reporting mechanism?

Cheers,

Josh

Hi @josh_l,

I hope you're doing well. For now the best way is to report it here on the forums, preferably one topic per thread.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
