Moving PCB components in an assembly

So have a PCB file created it gets inserted into an assembly (electronics enclosure). Some of the components need to be moved to clear objects. So it seems that at the time where moving pcb components is the most needed it is not possible to do?

Hopefully I am missing something, but it seems crazy that moving pcb components to miss obstacles that are in the way while the PCB is inserted into its enclosure assembly and then pushing those changes back to the pcb design isn't possible.

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. Unfortunately, at this point in time you are correct. This is isn't possible within the assembly. You have to switch back to the original PCB file and make the move there.

We are aware of this limitation and will work to address it as soon as possible.

yes, this is an important feature we have lost 😞  Also, if this feature gets added again, it would be great to have the ability to more precisely move PCB components in the assembly.  The old workflow it was basically just visual.
