Modules and ports

I have been creating a large schematic and have broken it down to modules and where applicable, I would like to have busses between modules. When adding a port, I have the option "Net or bus of module: XYZ" but I cannot see any busses in there, only nets. Have I missed a tickbox somewhere to break out busses in ports?

Hi @robert.martinUKYP4 ,

You haven't missed a button, this is actually an incomplete part of the hierarchical workflow. For now only nets break out properly. So you can use a bus at the top level schematic between modules but you'll have to break it out to connect to the modules.

If I've misunderstood what you are referring to(entirely possible) could you post a picture or a little more info that might help me narrow it down.

Hi Jorge, In that case, you should probably remove the word bus from the port command as it is pretty misleading and I wasted a lot of time trying to make it work
