Imported .brd - unable to edit 3d package

Hello,

I have imported a PC board from a design done by someone else in Eagle (specifically a .brd and .sch file from this repo: https://github.com/bgkatz/3phase_integrated/tree/master/New%20Version/Cheetah%20Driver%20Integrated%...). I was able to link the schematic and pcb file together, get it validated and pushed to 3D PCB. Yet (which was to be expected), all the 3D packages are just placeholders. I am fine with most of them staying that way but for design purposes I would really need at least the connectors and some larger PCB components to have somewhat realistic 3D packages. Sadly, I could not find a way to modify the packages of the existing parts - the options seem missing and when I try to edit the part, I run into a missing library issue. The original creator used some custom libraries along with some generic ones, but even if I download the respective generic libs in the library editor, I did not find a way to link the parts with the library (except manually changing every single part, which, unfortunately, messes up the board layout due to some unorthodox connections which are present from the original designer).

Granted that the footprints and silkscreen still works without a working link to the original libraries, is there a way to simply break the library link altogether and be able to modify the 3D packages of the parts manually?

Thank you very much!!
