How to change PADs/Footprint used in Library component?

Hi, 

I used the connector (PINHD-1X5) in the parts library but I would like to modify the PADs to use a circular shaped pad rather than an oblong shaped pad. 

What is the easiest way to do this? 

I have already created a provisional layout (without routing) with the oblong shaped pad but would like to modify this to a circular pad as the oblong style pad is taking up too much space for what I need.

I hope you're doing well. The best approach would be to copy the part to your personal library and then edit it there to change the pads to be circular.
