I have downloaded a component from Ultra Liberian. The result is a file like "2020-08-16_16-13-47_Library.scr".
Now, how do I import this component into a new or existing library?
Hi, the "scr" file UltraLibrarian provides is a script that can be run from Fusion Electronics to create this part and add it to your library. Please try the following steps:
- Open the library you want to add this to in Fusion Electronics
- Go to the "Automate" tab in the toolbar and select the "Run Script" icon
- In the script dialog, select the "Browse" option and navigate to the location of the .scr file
- Click "Open"
At this point, the script will start running and you will see the part being added to your library. This might take a few minutes as currently there's a small issue with scripts that they will trigger the UI while running, which we are working on disabling.
I hope this works! Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Hi @apselektronik ,
Keep you be updated that now you are able to download the library as .lbr format from ultralibrarian and open it in Fusion 360 directly now.
Please choose Autodesk > Fusion 360 PCB when you are downloading the library.
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Helen
Along with @HelenChen-ElectronicsQA recommendation, once you upload the .lbr from ultra librarian, you can import specific components that downloaded library into your personal libraries if you wish through the create new dialog boxes (add symbol, add footprint, etc.).
