Hi!
I would like to know if it is possible to place electronic components on a PCB in a honeycomb shape as suggested in the specification. I was able to place the components in either a rectangular or circular shape, but there is no way to specify a direction other than 90 degrees, as is done for example in the 3d design.
Best regards,
Anton
Hi @a_kononovNW435 ,
I hope you're doing well. If the components are hexagons this would be a circular array, you would then have to rotate the individual hexagons to get the honeycomb.
Let me know if you continue to run into problems.
Best Regards,
Dear Jorge,
thank you for your fast reply.
With circular array it is clear, but I need to put 168 LEDs.
I found solution - one could use two rectangular arrays - one is shifted to another like in this screenshot:
and I have two more requests - to implement rotation function of each component in array like it is made in EasyEDA:
I found only possibility to choose direction of array.
one more thing - ratlines and pointer to geometrical center of components have the same color and for symmetrical components like resistors, which are aligned one can not distinguish them:
It would be helpful if one could have more settings in the palette.
Best regards,
Anton
