Footprint in library differs from footprint in pcb document.. Ideas?

I have made many footprints and devices with 3d packages for this project. They all work fine exept 2....

How matter how i draw them, i still need that tight holes due to pin layout it  just smeers it out when i go to pcb view and gonna place the footprints on pcb... See pics from the actual footprint i made (super slim just to try it out, have also updated the libs so the latest rev is used by the pcb doc)

It looks like its scaled up... Its the same grid settings.

So as per now i cant place them on my pcb until i have a solution for this.

The footprints are for 2 pushbuttons from NKK with led. Links to pdfs

Hi @japmaco,

I hope you're doing well. You are getting bit by the annular ring settings in Electronics. It used to be called Restring. This blog is very detailed and explains what's going on.

Are you sure you want your pads that thin? I don't know if a board house can really produce this or if the connection will be reliable.

The key here is to setup your DRC so that your settings in the library are larger than what the DRC calculates.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi japmaco,

I hope you're doing well. Those settings are in the DRC. You'll find that in the validate menu. You can also access it by typing DRC in the Electronics command line.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
