Export Eagle 8.1.1 Legacy .brd Files

Some PCB fabs (e.g. OSH Park) require .brd files be saved as Eagle 8.1.1 and earlier compatible versions, which can be done in Eagle through the File menu. Is there a way to do something similar in Fusion, whether through the menus or command line? I've been looking but haven't found anything.

Obviously I can also export Gerber files and will do that for now, but it would be useful if we can export 8.1.1. compatible .brd files since that makes manufacturing significantly more streamlined.

Hi @AeroNib,

I hope you're doing well. In the schematic or board editor just go File > Export... From there you'll be able to export EAGLE compatible files. This functionality is being improved for the next Fusion release so stay tuned.

Thanks for the info! I've been able to export to current generation .brd files and look forward to future updates with legacy version 8.1.1 options.

Has any progress been made on allowing an export to 8.1.1 format?  I'm at a standstill at this point since I use OshPark and they require that version of the brd file.

Hi @whittedb ,

I hope you're doing well. You have a few options here, you could export a V7.7 file which is compatible with OSHParks service so that may be the simplest option.

Additionally, we ship with CAM jobs from OSH park that they setup according to their specifications. That would be a good alternative. In the cam Processor you'll find them here

Once you select the job, just click Process job to produce the files.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

I'll have to play with the CAM options.  All I've ever done is upload the brd file to OshPark.  Right now my work-around is to export as Eagle 9.x compatible, import into Eagle and then export as 7.x.  Sort of a pain.  I don't have an option to export from Fusion 360 into the 7.x format.  Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Hi @whittedb ,

I hope you're doing well. Fusion can export the files as V7. Use this option
