Change all wires in one layer to another layer in electronic design

I need to move all wires from route 2 to route 3 and route 15 to route 14.

Change group does not work.

And if I use change tool and click on wire by wire, vias are added and wires a rerouted,.

Any ideas?

Hi, @Anonymous 

An easy way to change the layer for all wires is to make only the desired layer visible and then window select all to change the layer.

Sometimes the operation would fail since wires would have DRC error after layer change, you could simply switch violators mode to "ignore violators" to make layer changeable and solve these errors after layer change.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Easiest way to do this is to select all of the traces on layer 2 and then in the inspector you can change the layer to layer 3. The selection filter makes the selection very simple.

I get property change failed and no more detailed informaiton of why it failed when trying inspector or change all
