Transaction Failed on Library.io no Server message

Hi Fusion Electronics Team,

Trying to get libraries working within Fusion360, however encountering an issue, possibly network related, but wondering if there was a way to test the connection further instead of just seeing the error.

When attempting to do anything in relation to libraries, I receive this error (Diamond Shape Exclamation Mark)

Transaction failed: Error transforming https://contapi.circuits.io/123D-Circuits/libraries?rows=100&start=0&updated_at=[1970-01-01T00:00:00Z,2023-06-19T04:18:50Z] - server replied:

When attempting to access the address in a browser, i am presented with the following page details

{"error":{"message":"Error authenticating","code":"Unauthorized","status":401}}

It seems to come up often in the forums, for example: Solved: circuits.io reports "Bad Gateway" when...

Any ideas of what I could try to resolve?

Hi @carlingrieve,

I hope this message finds you well. Generally these errors occur because the user does not have access to both the managed folder that contains the library and the hub in Fusion where the Fusion Team library is supposed to be. The first thing to sort out is, how many people are involved in the team. Are you the only user of EAGLE and Fusion? If that the case then we can narrow things down.

If you are not, then you have to find out who is the administrator for the managed folder that contains the lib you want to bring into Fusion Team and make sure they have you as a member of the managed folder.

Thank you for your reply,

Effectively the only user of Fusion 360, no people/teams in use. Eagle not used.

It seems to appear whenever connecting to any librariesio content, i.e. can not see libraries such as: https://library.io/libraries/16378657-Switch which is why I think it might be user error on my part.

Hi @carlingrieve,

I hope this message finds you well. The easiest way to test is if you are able to connect through a different network like at home or a starbucks or something like that.

One thing I'd like to mention is that this is one of the default libraries. Users can not edit these libraries, so if that's what you are trying to do that might explain why you are getting the error. You have to import the part into your personal library(ies) and then make the changes there.

The default libraries are available to all users so if a user made a bad change then all of the users would get that same mistake. That's why we don't allow the default libs to be editable.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thank you for the info.
Tried multiple connections - Work, Home & mobile hotspot. All with the same result.

I have attached a video that might help show what I am doing, and might show what I am doing wrong if user error.

They always ignore this problem & blame user connection/firewall. I posted for help 3 times, no solution.

In future Eagle will be turned down, and Fusion360 is still unusable with personal libraries.

So, the last option is switch to a totally new software & convert libraries & project files for that...!!

Hi @Anonymous,

I hope you're doing well. Are you still running into this? You've replied to a thread that is almost 2 years old.

If you are still running into this issue, I would recommend opening a new thread with details about what you are experiencing, I can pass that along to our developers.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
