the processor is heated during rendering

Tanslated:

Hello! I am actively working in Fusion 360 and recently ran into a problem that my CPU is warming up to 100c when rendering and pc's off system. This happens only when rendering in Fusion 360, Cinema4D and others warm up the processor to 65C maximum! In games above 70C I did not have. Processor - ryzen 7 2700x. The system is fully functional!

Thank you in advance!

@Anonymous , I think its normal the CPU operates continously at 100% during certain actions in Fusion. However, that it overheats seems more related to you computer setup than Fusion. If you have overclocked at all then you should be able to lower the maximum clock frequency in the config for your computer hardware or possibly in bios. Sorry don't have a more specific answer to give.

As a side note i think i have seen my CPU going to 80-90'C when busy, but thats for any application that pushes the CPU to 100% continuous load. Never reached 100'C though.

Good luck!

Marcus

Hi @Anonymous

depending on the what the processes are, Fusion grabs all the CPU power available. That would be the same for the Autorouter in Electronics, for example.  You mentioned games or video software, a lot of processing is done in the graphic cards processor. The main CPU is is more relaxed then.....  😉

I think there is nothing wrong with using maximum of available power, no?

The problem is that the processor overheats and as a result, the PC turns off and I can't work!

@Anonymous If that's the case i think you need to restrict the maximum clock frequency of the processor, that should reduce the temperature and reduce/remove the risk of your PC turning off.

my processor has a 4.2 GHz stock frequency, I don't want to lower it, losing performance in other applications.

Sincerely yours, Herman!

Unfortunately I think that's the only way but someone else here may have an alternate solution?

I have recently had that problem rendering with 3dsMax and Vray, I did everything on the book without success, someone suggested to instal a water cooler on my processor and I did, PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
