that CTRL+S save entire project and I am happy, currently it saves only active Tab, not everything.

I do not want to lose again my placement or routing.

Why not to let it auto save every 1 to 3 minutes , the lowest is 5 minutes.

Why when I want to save I have this stupid question if I really want to save it??? - You can leave it it for Mouse action only but when when I click two keyboard keys it can not by any fault, there is always undo!.

Make it user friendly not AGAINST users!

If you save from the electronics document, where the schematic, 2d layout, and 3D PCB are all linked together, it will save every document in a single action and increment the versions of all documents.

This will also help to keep your version numbers in sync with each other.

Thank for the proposed solution but it is not efficient.

I save every new placement or any risky operation, software is extremely unreliable and I lost already my placements  2 times, which is key to the good routing.

I have no time to switching from sch or PCB tab to the project tab. It is all against user. We do not use software we are fighting with it.. it is not the right way.t is non efficient.

Please autodesk explain me why I should I buy 5 license of your software ?I am making very initial part of the prototype, later additional 4 more people will be involved in the project. I have already offer from Mentor and from Cadence.

To save you must :

1. Switch from sch or pcb to PRJ tab

2.Click Save

3. Confirm stupid question if I really want to save

4.Back to the origin tab.

AD.3 this is extremely stupid what is this for????? @jorge_garcia  when user want to save there is no any risk, to ask him if want to really save. Such Question must be when you want to close entire F360. Why they do this??

Hi @christopher2KLSVU,

I hope you're doing well. What question are you referring to? It doesn't pop up any question it just shows a dialog where you can write a description of the change and then click OK.

If you're concern is that dialog, I'm afraid nothing is going to change there. In a version controlled setup, these descriptions serve as a paper trail of your work and can be useful when working in teams and tracking the progress of the design. If you don't want to type a description just press enter and carry on.
