New Fusion 360 Update - Can't Change DXF Layers

Hello All,

With the new update, the DXF import in PCB is now broken. When I choose a DXF, now I am unable to change the layer type in the menu.

This is a crucial step for us to be able to finalize our PCB design. Any word on what to do?

I hope you're doing well. I can reproduce this, in the meantime try using the import-dxf.ulp that is attached.

I'll make a bug report for this to see if it can be resolved as quickly as possible.

Thanks a lot for reporting this issue to us. I have been able to replicate it and a fix will be available as soon as possible. In the mean time a manual workaround would be to import the DXF onto layer 20 = BoardOutline which is the default and then manually Cut them from the Board Outline layer and Paste them onto the layer of your choice. Would this be okay until we release the fix?

Thank you for your reply. Sadly that temp. solution does not work because I have many other layers. The 1st layer would be easy to do as you said, but later on once I add other layers, choosing the polygons will be very difficult and time consuming and in cases error pron.

Do you have a estimated date when this will be fixed? and if a external ULP dxf export can be used until the fix?

Constantin is working in getting a fix in ASAP. In the meantime, I've attached the import-dxf.ulp from EAGLE 9.6.2. You should be able to use this one until the fix is in.
