How To Dimension a Line When Creating an Electronic Component?

Hi all - new to Fusion 360.  I am creating my own component and adding it to a library.  I went through the steps of creating the symbol, the footprint, and the 3D model.  At the 3D model step, I realized the footprint does not match the 3D model because the dimensions are off.  How do I adjust the dimensions of the symbol/footprint?  I am only seeing the option to add the dimension to it, but cannot figure out how to adjust the actual length.

Thanks!

Hi @kirsten.salo,

I hope you're doing well. In this situation, you have to edit the footprint directly. You can't fix it from the 3D model editor.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

It looks like you have a 3D package with 0.5mm pitch (which seems reasonable for that kind of package).
Your footprint, however, is on something like 1.3 mm pitch.
As Jorge say, you have to redo your footprint.
If you made it with the package generator, make sure you get all values right.
The difference from 0.5mm to 1.3mm, seems to indicate you have designed the footprint with the wrong units, inches instead of mm's.
