Hello!

I wanted to use 1.5 oz copper and I cannot see an option to do that. Is that not an option in fusion 360?

Thanks!

This can be changed in the layer stack manager.

Not sure if 1.5 is an option. 1 and 2 definitely.

Hi!

Thank you! I have been trying to do that from stack layer manager but can't find a 1.5 option. 1, 2, 3, etc are available but not with 0.5s.
You think there could be another way make it to 1.5oz other than the stack layer manager?

Hi @ivy_j,

Unfortunatelly this is not possible at the moment because the copper weigth is not editable even in the LSM and the Material Library can't be edited either. As you have already found out you can only use the values that are in the Weight combo-box. I will add a feature request so we can update this behaviour in the near future. May I ask why do you need a non-integer copper weigth that seem to be very rearly required?

Thanks a lot and please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Hi @ivy_j,

On 2nd thought you can change the Copper Thickness which is equivalent with the Copper Weigth in the Thickness column. What you need to do is to check the Edit material properties check-box and then you can edit the values in the LSM table. Please see the snapshot below:

The Copper Weigth will still need to be 1oz or 2oz but the thickness will be correct. The thickness is the one used to calculate the board thickness and it is also used when exporting data for fabrication in ODB++.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Kind Regards,
