Feature request on 2D circuit boards, X,Y cord

Can were get a component location X,Y in the lower right corner of the screen when selecting a component? Similar to how Fusion will display the length of a line or Diameter of a circle on a sketch simply be selecting an element?

I know it shows this in the inspector, but this would eliminate the need to have it open, or right click "properties".

Thanks

Hi @BeeAmaker,

This is already possible, look to the left of the Electronics command line, it always shows you the position of the cursor relative to the origin. So that can help you know the coordinates when you select a components.

Now if you want the polar coords that's also possible (length and angle) using the MARK command. The MARK command allows you to establish a relative origin. Try this and see if it gets you what you want.

MARK (P 0 0) and press enter.

The P activates the polar coordinates.

Let me know if you continue to run into problems.

Yeah, that gets me close, but it shows the cord of the curse and not the cord of the Part. So I have to hover the curser exactly over the + origin of the part.

The part is at 13.3, 42.6 but the screen shows the curser position.

Hi @BeeAmaker,

I hope you're doing well. I'll put in a feature request for this then, since the above isn't sufficient for you.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.
