Edit Existing Library???

I have a custom local parts library that I built up of the years of using Eagle.  Maybe I'm missing something but I can't find any info on how use or edit my parts library in Fusion 360.     ???    I have found a video on how to make a new library, but have found nothing on how to import, edit or use my existing custom library.  I don't really want to start over from scratch I would like to just add 3D models to what I have and keep adding to this library.

In Eagle 6.5 I would just go to the library list in the main window and open it to edit it and add new or change my Device, Package or Symbols.

Help?

Hello @Mowee ,

Did see the "Open from my computer" button in the file open dialog? You can select your library file from this command, and then you can use and edit it in Fusion.

I I was able to import the library to Library.io and do some edits to it there.  None of the edits I made ever showed up as available in 360 though...      So you're saying that I need to open the library in 360 first and then I will be able to use it and edit it.  I will try that.

I think I'm finally getting someplace!!!   Nowhere did I see anything saying that a custom Eagle library needed to be imported into Fusion 360 before I could use it or edit it.   I was confused because Eagle has always used a local library folder on my drive for this.   I did see stuff about library.io but that only let me see the library in Fusion and not edit it and none of the edit I made on library.io ever made their way into Fusion so that was also confusing.     Now that I have actually upload my custom library into Fusion, I can not only see it, but I can open it to edit and add new parts to it including the 3D files.   Thank You for your suggestion that put me on the right path.  🙂

Just to clarify, @Mowee , if you want to edit the library in Fusion (change the symbols, footprints etc), you will need to "import" the document into Fusion and edit it. If you just want to use your LBRs in schematic design, you can add them into the Library Manager just as what you do in EAGLE:
