Design blocks - built-in functions

Hello,

I was using Eagle. I don't find the same functions to create and manage design blocks in Fusion 360 Electronics. I think it is an very important part, with the following functions :

  • create design Block
  • modify design block
  • copy design block
  • update design block if libraries changed

ps : I read that we could do something with the command line but it is not very pratical

Thanks, best regards,

Valentin

Hi @Valentin.Gros ,

The Fusion implementation of Designblocks is still a work in progress  so for now the command line option is the best way forward until the next version of designblocks is released, this is an important part of Electronics so we are working to address these gaps.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi @valentin.grosGQU6E ,

I hope you're well. In the latest release of Fusion there's the insert Electronics Design button, under the place sub menu of the Design section.

For now this will allow you to place an existing Fusion 360 design as if it were a designblock.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Best Regards,
