Component name will not update in schematic and PCB

Hi Everyone,

I`m new to Fusion Electronic design, but I have been using Fusion for some years.

Now I`m redesigning a small PCB due to some component changes.

I`m trying to add THP`s at the end of the circuits for external wires to be soldered on to the PCB.
I have created two different components for this, with different dimensiones.
When I place them in the shcematics they appear with "P$1" two places, and when I give them their specific names (A1, A2, B1, B2 etc.) it will not show in the shcematic layout or in the PCB layout. When I open properties for a specific THP connection, it will state the new name given, but still schematic and PCB layout still says P$1 for all connections.

I think I`m doing something wrong here, nut I cannot figure out what. And I have been searching the forums and google. But not clear hints.
I cannot share much details of the design, due to classified work. But I will put a small portion of the circuit here that shows the problem.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi @mhkH5NE6 ,

The issue here is that you don't have >NAME and >VALUE placeholders. The P$1 that you are seeing are the pin name and pad name as assigned in the library. In the symbol editor you can change the visibility of the pin and pad names.

Check out the wirepad library, it contains pads for you to solder to. You don't have to make your own.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Thank you Jorge,
I managed to correct my custom pads and I found the mentioned library. The pads in this particular design, is with custom dimensions. That`s why I had to make them.
