This software is incredible, you shouldn't ask too much of it, if you worked more than 5 hours with it it crashes... WHEN WILL YOU STABILIZE THIS SOFTWARE rather than adding unnecessary things, and of course when editing components in libraries.

Is it possible to have software that doesn't crash??????!!! in 2024 no software crashes except FUSION!!!!

Tell us if you don't have to work more than 5 hours with it, should it rest?

It's a shame !!!!!!!!!!!!!

STOP THE UPDATES EVERY TIME IT’S WORSE!!

I'm wise to no longer use Fusion for big projects otherwise I would have already lost my job.

Hi Ritchie!

Thanks a lot for the feedback. Could you let us know which steps you were doing before this error dialog popped up? You mentioned you were editing components in the library?

Thanks!

Hi Pieter,

Thanks for your reply, just component editing !!!!!!!!!!! as always, maybe you shouldn't edit components when working on a session.

It's impossible to work seriously with this software, I've been saying it for years, since the abandonment of Eagle it's a disaster, this software is a stress tool.

Why in my more than 50 software installed on my Mac Fusion IS THE ONLY ONE to crash????????????????????????? 🤬

Could you recall the steps you were doing in component editing? Anything that could help us track this down?

Just editing a component during a PCB management that's all !!!

I don't know what to say to help you anymore, I've been helping you resolve bugs for over 3 years, but it still crashes!! But am I the only one having these problems? It is not possible.

Even my Windows on a PC is more stable! It’s still worrying, isn’t it? the library problem is known in your developer team...simplify this management please.

All the crashes I have happen every time I use or manage a component in a library.

Thank you anyway for your help but I am desperate, this software will never work as it should again.

The crash occurred in front of a client, it's not serious.

Hi. I wanted to just comment to encourage you to send in crash reports. I can see from your report history only two crash reports sent in 2024. I'm going to guess you have crashed more than that. Each report is a key to understanding and fixing unexpected issues like your crashes. Please send all crash reports, it will help. If there is no time to comment, that's okay, the data in the report is also quite valuable, even without any comments.

Of course it is useful to report crashes, but I encountered so many of them that I was desperate that it would be of no use and the proof! it continues !!

I don't understand your stubbornness in adding new functions which are certainly useful, but isn't the most urgent thing to make a tool stable like Eagle was? Isn't it useful to make this tool a reassuring tool? do you think it's normal when I open Fusion I'm stressed wondering if I'll be able to finish my project? The evidence is no! still today !!!

Why did you make a library management system so complicated? because all the problems come from that.

I'm going to repeat myself for the 100th time!! you add floors to a building, or even put a Jacuzzi on the roof, while the foundations are not consolidated.

Every month you lose confidence and of course customers, because the competition is tough and much further ahead than you and much more stable.

As long as you don't understand all this nothing will work out, when I see in your updates that, I quote you "you are very excited and proud to have added functions" while Fusion is not stable !!

Thanks for the comments.  I appreciate how you must feel but it might help to know that we work on both bugs and new features constantly. My job is to find an eliminate crashes, not feature development. I can see from your crash history that we have fixed many of the crashes that you have faced in the past. It helps because you add comments to the crash reports that guide our investigations.  I appreciate your help and patience while we work on these things.

Thank you for your response, but understand that I no longer have great confidence in Fusion, whereas I had 100% confidence in Eagle which was very stable and very simple to use, now you are in the process of give birth to a monster who one day will turn against you.

Listen to those who use Fusion, your customers...

Thank you anyway for your help and your response.

Hi @RitchieFromParis,

I haven't spoken to you in a bit. Several things in the library management have improved that should help minimize the issues you are running into. Like Phil, said thanks to your reports many issues have been resolved. I'm sorry that somehow you've run into so many issues.

I'd like to help you with library management again. I know you are busy, if you can just make a new thread with what you are now seeing in the libraries and I'll walk you through it. It'll benefit you and anyone else that running into the same thing with the libraries.

Let me know.

Best Regards,
