Trouble with user management

While importing new users on manage.autodesk.com I have run into some issues. First, even with a perfectly formatted .csv file, the import never works on the first try. I find I have to import several times for the system to add all of the users. Also, I am finding a lot of my students are being imported with incorrect first and last names. For example, if this was my spreadsheet, I would get a user named jsmith jsmith.

Is there any way to edit the user name to fix this? Removing the user and re-importing gives the same result.

Finally, I guess this is more of a feature request, but it would be very helpful to maintain the groups created on the user management site within fusion. This way inviting new students to your team and setting their permissions would be more efficient if you could do it by group.

Hi @rstehlik_12

Thanks for letting us know about this issue. I passed this information on the team.

After the student accepts the invitation to create their account and create a password, they can change their name at https://profile.autodesk.com/personalinfo.

Thanks,

-Dan

Hi @rstehlik_12
The team just updated the system that controls User Import. If you have time, could you try it again and see if it now works for you. If not, can you private message me with the csv file that is failing?

Thanks for your help.

-Dan
