Exciting News for Fusion Education Users! Custom Groups and Roles UI

We're thrilled to announce some exciting updates that enhance role and permission workflows. Up to this point, granting access to users through role assignments has been a bit cumbersome, but we've heard your feedback loud and clear. We're excited to unveil the upcoming release of our new groups functionality, making access management more intuitive for everyone.

We're committed to providing a seamless experience for all educational users, and these updates are starting to roll out to all educational users and will soon be available to you. Stay tuned for more details, and we're eager to see how these enhancements benefit your projects!

Updated Experience

Enhanced for easier user management, now you can effortlessly find, add, and invite new users. Plus, easily discern the level of access for members with assigned roles, streamlining the process for efficient administration.

Groups

Take control of your members with Groups. We have heard everyone’s feedback on providing an easier way to assign roles to the many students you manage.  No longer do you have to manage roles for every single student.  You can create your own groups, add users, and assign a role.  All new groups created can be used hub wide.

We deeply appreciate everyone's feedback. This initial release of the new group, members, and permissions experience marks just the beginning. Rest assured, we're actively planning further enhancements, including improving group visibility and implementing more valuable features.

Happy Teaching!

Hi @Brahim_Karim_Benharrat

Custom Groups in your Fusion Team allow you to create groups to manage roles with your project.

Does this help?
