It would be useful to have a "zoom to object" feature.  If you're working with multiple objects spread across the workspace, you have to pan and hunt the object.

It would be great if when you select an obect in the browser to be able to enable a keystroke or button that will move and center on the selected object.

Would have a lot of time chasing it...

Hi @scotty71

Have you tried the Find in Window command?

Right click on an item in the broswer and select Find in Window.  It will zoom in to it.

Why the zoom does not go to the place where the cursor is ?? instead it goes to the center of the window...

It Zooms to your mouse IF you use the mouse wheel to do the zooming.  In the Animated GIF, I select the Zoom command, place my cursor and roll my mouse wheel.  This also works with the mouse zoom functions you have in Fusion 360 Preferences.

Either research what motions on a trackpad emulate the same input as a mouse scroll wheel or you will have to wait for someone who owns a trackpad to answer.  You may want to clarify your operating system as trackpads emulations can be different between Windows and MAC.
