Zoom problem

When I open a project the roller ball doesn't operate as a zoom.  Only after I use the zoom window from the graphics box lower center does the roller ball zoom begin to work.  Is this normal?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thank you for posting Smiley Happy

I understand that you have issue that can’t operate a zoom function.

May I ask you somethings to clarify?

1. You mentioned “roller ball”, does it mean “scroll wheel” of the mouse?

2. Are you using the MAC OS?

3. Could you check the preference option?

Thanks Ahreum,

Yes on the scroll wheel and I'm in a Windows 7 environment.  Yes, the preferences look the same as the image you provided.  Its only at start up.  After a few (seems random) orbit and/or zoom using the navigation bar the scroll wheel begins to work.

Thanks,

Tim

Thanks Ahreum,

I appreciate the link to a similar issue seen in the past.  I apologize for not seeing this previous thread.  For me, this is just an inconvenience.  Truth be told, I wanted to ensure my install was solid.  Being a newby I'm stumbling through the learning process and wanted to make sure my platform is solid.  It sounds like my install is probably functioning correctly.  I'll now focus on other more design related challenges.

Thanks again,

Tim
