Zoom and orbit

I have lost my ability to zoom and orbit, both via mouse and onscreen. I am on a Mac.

Is this a Mac laptop, iMac, Mac Mini? Are there peripheral devices plugged into the computer when this happens (wacom table, wireless keyboard, space mouse or regular mouse)? All all the device drivers updated?

Are you fullscreen when this happens? Does it make a difference if you are full screen or the window is minimized (somewhat)?

If there's any other information you can provide to help us reproduce this behavior, it would be really helpful! Thanks in advance!
