Yet another filleting issue

Hi,

Like a number of people, I'm having trouble with filleting and can't figure out why. I've read a number of forums which show badly constrained sketches and sharp edges. For the life of me I can't find the problem.

In this image, I'd like to fillet the edges shown with green.   I get a variety of errors depending on which combinations I have selected, including "cannot create pcurve on this object", "cannot create fillet of this size" and "geometry is too complex"  (sorry - I don't have the exact wording).

 

The other side fillets fine, but is simpler. As has just about everywhere else on this body.    The model should be attached. If anyone can find "the thing" (or things) that I've missed, that'd be absolutely fantastic.

Only way I can come up with is create the bottom plate as a new body, fillet then join to the circular body with an extrude. See attached File.

 I had a problem adding the last fillet to the inside, perhaps with some persistence you can get the correct order. Edit, by the way how are you going to make this? Pretty sure you can not create the missing fillet is you are going to injection mould.

This isn't per se a filleting challenge, it is a modeling challenge you need to think ahead of when modeling in general.

The situation you have created here is where several edges meet in a single vertex and on top pf that the fillet would need to merge from convex to concave in that point.

@HughesTooling posted one way to approach it, but it really only addresses part of the issue depending on what else you wat to fillet.

Thanks so much for the reply @HughesTooling. I had the idea of splitting bodies as well, but thought it should be *theoretically possible* as a single solution.  I think I will probably try this (depending on the other potential solutions).   I'm a backyard hack (hence my limited knowledge), so this will just be on my home 3D printer... nothing sophisticated such as injection (maybe I should do a kickstarter and see if it sells... LOL).

Thanks Peter ( @TrippyLighting  ). I'm a back-yard hack and so it's kinda grown as I've gone along.  I did wonder about fillets going from convex to concave.  I've seen other designs where this has happened... is it possible at all?  Would it be as simple as making sure I don't have so many verticies meet? Is there a particular process or order? Certain settings within the fillet? (I haven't really mucked around with them as they don't seem to do much).  It would be great if I could get it to work on "every edge", but can also understand if it wouldn't.
