Working with SVG Files

I am making some sheet metal coasters with an SVG file using a plasma cutting table.

I imported an SVG from Illustrator. I modified some lines. Now the lines that I modified won't show as black for cutting. The holes show up, which I did not modify.

I have not use the TRACE feature before, I'll check it out more thoroughly. Thank you for pointing it out.

A hearty big thanks for all the support on this question!!! It was a tremendous help. Here are pictures of the coasters primed and in use by the guy who retired.

It was a running gag that at a meeting one time, our supplier told us: Don't call us, we'll call you. The guy who retired texted us the old Sugar Loaf song of the same title every time the supplier did the same thing. Hence, the rotary phone theme.
