Work from 30+ revisions missing

I have a model I just opened up and almost all the work I did over the last few weeks is gone. There is just one sketch.  All the other sketches, bodies operations etc are all gone.

I assume I can just grab a previous version, but this is really screwed up.

One thing I notice about your design is that it was saved in a "rolled-back" state (after the first sketch):

If I click the "play to end" icon on the controls, it looks like this:

Is that more what you expect to see?

I'm not sure how it was saved rolled back, but that appears to be the case.
