Why does this dxf file crash Fusion?

If I try to either insert or open this imported dxf file, Fusion crashes.  What's going on?

1) no file is attached

2) imported DXF files often come in the form of a nigh on unmanageable number of Sketch elements.    Applications, such as Inkscape (free), are sometimes effective at joining segments into more manageable contiguous segments.
