is there a reason why smooth constraint hides the curvature handles? it is for me important to adjust tangent and curvature values to sculpt smooth constraint / g2 transitions like in the right case but without it I need too add afit point to bring the curve down in the mid image!

I read your post few times again and again but sadly most of the technicality I might not fully understand because I personally lack the foundation for that. grrrr ...

However Inventor can tangent and smooth constraint CVs and thus I cannot image a reason why in Fusion this should not be possible too.

Now my question is will Fusion sketch get a similar function toolset or not? There are two reasons why I ask.

1. For certain shapes the spline tool is ideal and fantastic. Specifically when you make s like shapes. But thats not always the case and then one needs blend curves. And as a designer I should not be limited by how the system can only work. Because then the engine is limiting my design ability and forcing me to follow a specific workflow which might not be ideal for the concept development phase.

2. I am curious about what people at Autodesk think, because I noticed that there is hardly any response towards blend curves requests. And they are an essential design tool. So will Fusion at one point be able to offer this or as a matter of simplicity will this not be offered. Is a simple yes or no statement.

Here check this video:

there is also a problem when using extra fit-points because the spline changes the moment I move it. In this video I also separated primary and secondary curve into to sketches. In Alias I can do the same by adding another degree and the curve will not jump like in Fusion.

I still think the spline engine here needs to be enhanced to allow us designers work more natural.

Or maybe you can tell me how your would rather approach this. Obviously as a designer I am following a certain workflow surfacing programs allow me to use.

Maybe I am just at fault here.
