What is the recommended approach to components that only differ by length?

I'm working on a project that makes use of several components that only vary by length. For this discussion, think of my component as a Lego brick and the components only differ by the length of the brick; the width and thickness remain the same.

What is the recommended approach to creating these in Fusion? Should I create a sketch for each length I need? Or can I make one sketch and drive placement of the Lego "pins" so as the part gets longer additional "pins" are created with a fixed spacing. Placement of the "pins" is based on the center of the brick and any shortage / extra would be placed evenly at each end.

@Anonymous - what you need are "configurations".  Fusion does not yet support configurations, but this project is in progress now.  No release date is yet scheduled, but this is a high priority for us.  In the meantime, you can get partway there with some workarounds, such as using FusionSheeter to let you control lengths of your parts.  You can also use Derive in creative ways.  In the Lego example - model the longest one you need, then derive into new designs, and cut off the parts you don't need.  Of course, this is more involved than it sounds, but there are probably ways to make it work.
