What is the best way to share a discovery with the forum?

Your access to the forum is using a forum post, just as you have already done asking your question.  In a post you can include Screencast, screen captures, attached example files and links to other sites such as a blog you have created on the technique.

Yes, by all means show off what you've discovered.  Might be some users who have already seen it, but you might astound and amaze a few people as well.
