what happens if i cancel my subscription?

I have been using Fusion 360 for about 18 months now and have successfully used it in the first round of manufacturing in our project. At this stage i haven't used the program for a number of months, i will be using it again at some point but for the time being i can't really afford to be paying out for a program i am not using, but i do not wish to lose my existing models.

So my question is if i cancel my subscription do i lose access to my models? and can i then reactivate my subscription at a later date when i need it.

I really don't wish to lose the history and evolutionary record of the project.

many thanks

I'm still very new to f360 so don't take my word for things just yet, but I would think you could cancel your subscription (payments) and still keep your account open.

On the front page of their website it says, "Free for students, enthusiasts, hobbyists, and startups".

Was thinking it was free unless your company was making $100,000 plus or something like that.

"Access the same design software used by industry leaders worldwide. A free 3-year license is available for students, teachers, and academic institutions.
A free 1-year startup license is also available for hobbyists, enthusiasts, makers, and emerging businesses that make less than US$100,000 in revenue per year. At the end of 1 year, you can reselect the startup entitlement or transition to a commercial entitlement."

Edited to add: You could also create a local backup of your fusion files, just incase.

Hello @Anonymous,

When you create a Fusion account, you also get cloud storage (Hub) associated with it. When you are on subscription, you can create unlimited projects and Fusion data in those projects.

When you go off subscription, you still have a free Autodesk account and that allows you 5GB of storage for your data. So you can cancel subscription and still maintain access to your data as a free user. Once you restart subs, all your data will be available for edit including all history.

Thanks,
Bankim
