What are the small blue diagonal hash marks that sometimes appear below some items in the Browser?

Why would 3 of 4 canvases in my design have red circle-with-bar icons on them?

What are the small diagonal hash marks that sometimes appear above items in the time line?

Where can I find a complete pictorial listing of all the F360 icons and what they mean?

These are selection "breadcrumbs".  It means that something below these marks is selected.  These are added all the way up the hierarchy chain so that you can tell, from the browser, that something is selected, even if the nodes in the tree are collapsed.

Here's an example.  Collapsed browser view:

Expanded, showing that the body is selected:

Hope this clarifies things a bit
