I love F360, it's really powerful... but man is it buggy at times...
In my current project I've got a file that's simply an assembly file. it has a lot of parts and a lot of joins. Right now I'm getting an error warning telling me:
Warning: This design contains Removed components which did not update. To complete the update, roll the history marker to before the earliest Remove feature and click the Get All Latest button
1 Component is still out of date.
Please run the Get All Latest command again.
so I've gone into every part and rolled all through the timelines and no errors, nothing to update.. it would be REALLY nice if F360 told you what component is out of date.. it's kinda stupid that when you click "more info" in the error pop up you get the exact same message as what was in the pop up.. there's zero "more info" there.... Give me a clue where to look F360! When I right click on the highest level item in the browser there isn't any "get latest" option available or warning triangle, nor do any of the parts have the warning triangle, or any of the sub parts within those assemblies when I explode everything in the browser. I can hit the warning triangle that's part of the top chrome but after it does it's thing it just repeats the error warning above.
Also, the joins keep getting screwed up. For example, 2 parts will be joined with rotation but they get displayed WAAAY offset from each other. Then if I edit the rotation then they snap back together. Or other times I'll have a rigid join and one of the parts will be frozen in space unable to move, but the other part moves away as if there isn't any join but the join icon is there floating in space where it should be. Sometimes the material appearance decides to just go back to being the default and sometimes parts in a sub-assembly will decide to just turn off and I have to explode them in the browser to turn them back on again.. it's super frustrating when I'm trying to pose an action figure with a ton of parts for renders for product shots 😞
