Variable Pitch Coil

Hi,

I'm new to F360, but wanted to know how to make a variable pitch coil.  From what I've read on these forums, it can't be done, but I've found some pictures of it being done in F360 and Inventor.  In another CAD program I would project to sketch on the coil's end face, then do a helical feature at a different pitch along the same axis, but is not the case here since F360 doesn't seem to have this feature.  So, my question is - what's the work around?

Thanks,

Erik

Thank you Eric!  That does help with what I had pictured in the second photo I posted.  But do you have an idea when it comes to doing the end of a suspension coil like the first photo?

Sure, You just keep using the same copy/paste/combine strategy, but this time you would have several bodies instead of just two coils.  The top would be 3 pieces, a spiral top, a spiral bottom and a helix in the middle.  The bottom would be a square profile helix with the face press/pulled to the right aspect ratio.
