Using the thread command on tapered extrusions

Hi,

The title of this post narrows the matter down well, but I will ask again anyway:

Is it possible to use the thread command on a tapered extrusion, or am I stuck with using the coil tool to make a tapered thread?

I wouldn't normally ask this, however I figured that making what I have in mind would be a wee bit quicker than making the coil thing.

Fusion's Thread tool can't do tapered threads yet. There has been a claim made that such functionality will become available in the next update, in a week or so.
