I am relatively new to Fusion 360 and am attempting to self-teach myself how to use it well enough to create component drawings for some parts I need machined. One of the parts (shown below) needs to be bent to create a j-hook on the left side.
Since I need component drawings of the part before and after bending, I first created the above part and then inserted it into a new design to make that file the bent piece. I unlinked the part from original, turned off design history, and converted the part from BRep to T-Splines. Then, using sculpt I attempted to manually bend the left side up into the j-hook. However, the T-Splines end up only being a "skin" and the part itself does not bend, as shown in the picture (this isn't the actual shape I need it to be, just wanted to show what happens).
Is there any way I can get the end result that I need without having to redraw the entire part from scratch as bent? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
