Hi,
I am working on a car, and for the windows I created a 3D sketch outlining the front, side and rear window. Then when I try to create these surfaces using the loft or patch tool in the patch workspace the adjacent sketches disappear, not allowing me to create the remaining windows. Is there a solution to this? Or do I have to redraw the other outlines? I have attached two screenshots of what happens.

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here.
Has the sketch been consumed by the feature?
Is the sketch lightbulb lit up (your screen capture does not show this critical information)?
I think it gets consumed, although I'm not sure what that means exactly.

This is a very ambitious project for a beginner.
Is this your first project?
Have you gone through the Tutorials.
Are there any issues indicated in your Timeline?
I have watched quite a few of the tutorials, and some other videos on youtube. But you're probably right, I should start with something easier. I have quite some experience in SketchUp, but not much of that transfers to this. I'm guessing that means that there isn't a quick fix to my issue, and that I should have a lot more practice? I think there are some issues in the timeline, which would probably be easiest to fix by starting again, with what I learnt in the process.

1. I recommend actually replicating the tutorials - not just watching them.
2. What is this "SketchUp" that you speak of?
3. I'm guessing that there is a trivially easy quick fix to your issue - turn on the sketch lightbulbs.
I watched them while on the go, following them would probably be better, thanks for the suggestion. SketchUp is a CAD program, but its kinds trash when compared to Fusion, although easier to learn. I fixed the issue by changing a setting in preferences as instructed by another reply. Thanks for trying though!

I don't think that you truly understand what you did by following the instructions in other reply.
I think he gets it now.
1. The sketch wasn't really being "consumed."
2. It was just getting its visibility turned off as soon as you made something from it.
3. The setting changes that behavior.
It ain't a complex concept to grasp once somebody has shown you how to turn the light bulbs back on and that the setting exists.
